Spent a perfect balmy evening with our friends, Innes and Fiona, who live right next to Loch Duntelchaig on the outskirts of Inverness.
It was magic - gliding along the still blue water, watching the ospreys hunt, the air all warm and sweet with the smell of gorse.
We picnic-ed on the hills after and watched the pheasants flap themselves silly, chasing one another around the fields.
Think May must be the best kept secret time to visit Scotland... hardly any tourists, sunny long days and perfect places like this - all to ourselves.
